Since I'm just hosting a CNAME pointing to www.google.com, I don't see any search traffic. Google still sees your source IP address. This service is just meant to disassociate your search activity from your google.com cookie. I no longer fear the day when Gmail's targeted ads will be based search history. :) Charlie

Dudes, I just stood up this CNAME pointing to www.google.com. Google's extensive use of relative URLs means you can search (and navigate results) without being bounced back to the 'real' google.com domain. But...I wake up this morning and see a new form action on Google's home page- <form action="http://www.google.com/search" name=f> But from other locations I see
