Yes, we know you hate us and all...but please don't run mail servers if you can't set them up properly.

You are assuming these emails are coming from external sources.. did you take into consideration that Google just like any other large enterprise might have users who are just a few french fries short of a happy meal and who may have inadvertently installed some sort of malware on their desktop that is now being used as a spam machine?

then again.. maybe you're right.. heh.. ;)

That's why the next evolution of the mail server should not only scan incoming mail, but also outgoing so that it is stopped at the source..

I have thousands of spam messages coming from Google servers to invalid recipients, their servers aren't under their control. Sad and pathetic, but once again, typical g00gle...abuse the net, because "Our motto says we aren't evil, so it must be true!!1onesie1!!."

See http://robert.penz.name/39/spamming-goes-to-new-level/ (original article is http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/103711) - that might be what you are seeing.

Oh I know exactly what it is, but google is still culpable. notice how there is 0 spam coming from our servers! (yes I realize my user base is a factor of a million or so less than google, but so is my budget)
