This puzzles me. Try searching for sla.ckers.org on www.xeoo.com and you'll a nice page of tons of permanent links back. But what puzzles me is they are using links with an overture redirect exploit and encoded. WHY? How can you profit from that?

Maybe they think that the more people who click on those links will make Yahoo think that their site is actually relevant because it's sending lots of traffic. That would be my best bet.

Yup, or finding a search query that includes both your link and theirs on the same page. There's a small chance they might click through. Not particularly good likelihood, but you never know.
