Anyone have some example source code for this that they wouldn't mind parting with? Can't seem to get it to work for me. :-\

What do you mean? Are you refering to creating a robot that'll use POST to actually send data?

I was trying to do in C/C++ with winsock. POSTing doesn't want to work for me though. I know some people here were talking about good at making bots. Wondering of anyone has some example source code they wouldn't mind posting. :)

I've not made any in C/C++ but if you're just looking for generic ones. Here's a crappy one I made in PHP to play Luny's game: http://sla.ckers.org/forum/read.php?12,6077#msg-6576
Here's a DNS server I wrote in PHP: http://87.194.204.55/DNS/
Here's an IRC bot I wrote in PHP: http://87.194.204.55/TriviaBot/

The latter two are very much is progress and when I turn my laptop off the server will no longer be responding. I'll try to remember to keep apache running.

Are you counting the POST data and sending it in the Content-Length?
For example, A GET Packet:

GET /register?uname=Blah&pwd=blah123 HTTP/1.1
Host: blah.com
User-Agent: Firefox
Accept-Whatever: Whatever
Keep-Alive: 300
Connection: keep-alive

But a POST packet will only work like this:

POST /register HTTP/1.1
Host: blah.com
User-Agent: Firefox
Etc:
Etc:
Etc:
Etc:
Content-Length: 33

uname=Blah&pwd=blah123&register=1

Without the right Content-Length (33), it will fail. Let me know if this works.

Fierce has a -connect flag that will send any header information at the target in question and log the output. That's a pretty decent example of how it works in PERL. But you still have to write the post string out by hand, it doesn't try to be smart at all: http://ha.ckers.org/fierce/

Gotta love it. http://ha.ckers.org

*Edit*

After posting screenshot here and fixing an error I noticed my POST attempt actually works. Wow.

Thanks for the replies guys and for the true proper format Ghozt. :)
