This group should mostly be dealing with how web applications enable networking security issues that are otherwise not there. Everything is being tunneled over port 80 now so what does that enable and how do we fix it?

hello everybody. i want to seek for your help.

i had this router from my isp. bought it from them and its a new one. the technician didn't gave the password for the router. i can't understand his reason why he don't want to give it. so i called the customer service and asked for it. but no answer from them.

i want to change the ip configuration of my router as i am sharing with some of my colleague and to limit their internet usage as well.

i know the username but i don't know the password. anyone can guide me how to hack/read the password?

thanks!

the router don't have the reset button. it's like it was customised.

have a look in your router manual, there is usually a standard login.

http://www.routerpasswords.com/ try there, if the default password doesn't work then you can reset the router (PLEASE LOOK AT SIEMENS DOCUMENTATION ON HOW AND DO REALIZE DOING SO WILL RESET ALL ROUTER SETTINGS TO FACTORY DEFAULT)
