planing an attack

I found some open ports on a site by using nmap.
since ftp(21) port is opened i try to access that but it asks for username &password is there any way to sniff password or is there any other attacks can be performed in that some plz guide me........

I always used to STFG!!!!!!
i used Brutus soft but it ask me to wait for few years what to do ......
is there any other way to injuncting code .......

I used ACUNETIX but it gives the files and folders of that site but i cant able to access that ho to get that?
