Seeking the worlds greatest web application penetration testers.

You will have completed at least 200 commercial penetration tests and are clever enough to pick up a new technology quickly. More importantly, you will also be able to explain complex security issues to non technical folks, and your written communication is also world class.

Preferences will be made to candidates with a web programming background. You will also need to feel very comfortable at a *nix command line and at least one scripting language.

Last but not least, there's an existing team which will support you and your contribution will be welcome.
Examples of the full time team at Pure Hacking:
Published in three current books;
Quoted monthly in the media;
Presenting at BlackHat / IDC
and the list goes on.

You will need to know your stuff and it's the reason why we want the world's greatest penetration testers.

We're opening up the doors to welcome you.

Want to play?

The web site is www.purehacking.com

Don't you hate it when they waste everyones time by posting all the requirements without the rate, then you get the H1B rate.....

Yup, I do hate it when they do that. Some more details are:

o The position is located in Sydney, Australia
o Some travel may be required
o An experienced candidate can expect a salary of $120,000 AUD

If you have any other questions, just ask away.

Will you pay me 120,000 AUD to correct all of the grammatical errors on your site? I'm just asking because your description states that one must have "world class" written skills.

I also have to agree about the grammar, you should really consider hiring a technical writer or creative writer...preferably the world's greatest as well.

"The second year became the third year..."

"...and the third year becomes the fourth."

That is probably some of the blandest and improperly crafted writing I've seen on a professional website in a while. Ditch the profile page and have it redone, it's only detracting from your company's image because it's written like shit. Oh, and the Employment page should also be re-worked.

The site's layout is decent, but the content sucks and there is a bit too much white space.

Did someone say startup? At least they've learnt one lesson: It takes a hacker to catch a hacker

Wow.. I hadn't even bothered in looking at the site, now I wish I hadn't.

I'm bi-lingual, and English is my more better language.

I love his client list:

"IT Manager - Production Systems, International Business Services Corporation"
"IT Manager - Production Systems, International Manufacturing Corporation"
"IT. Security Manager, International Financial Institution"
"IT Manager, Regional Banking Institution"

We have some clients that don't want us to reveal that they are having work done, but come on...

speaking of mission disclosure id, what is your politic with sectheory ? i negociate with the clients from "no disclosure, ever. of anything. even only vaguely relating with you" to "yeaaaah, portfolio !!!11!" and get it by contract. do you use a lawyer to define the terms and conditions of that ?

Usually we just get it in writing that a client will allow us to use their name/logo, we haven't had a lawyer look over anything. If a client requested us to take down their logo from our site, or to not mention them we would of course do it without hesitation.

We don't discuss the vast majority of our clients with anyone. We only big names and companies we've worked with a long time to establish trust and comfort with new customers in using SecTheory. They are after all trusting us with their most confidential information!
