Job description: Exploding IT Security Consulting practice seeking consultants in NY, PA, TN, Vancouver, BC, or other US locations to add to a rapidly growing team. This role will be a part of our technical services team, servicing clients in a variety of industries.

Ideal applicants will have the following characteristics:


** One to three years of information technology experience required. Desired experience should include a foundation in Applications Security, Applications Development or Applications Testing
** Hands-on experience with performing applications assessments, information security consulting, code reviews and testing are most beneficial.
** Technical or professional certifications, such as CISM or CISSP, are highly desirable.
** Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science or information systems.
** Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of interacting effectively with management, as well as end-users and technology professionals.

Experience in some or all of the following regulations or standards:
o NCUA
o GLBA
o HIPAA
o Sarbanes Oxley
o ISO 17799/27001
o PCI DSS
o OWASP

Candidate should be able to demonstrate and understanding of specific IT security technologies and processes:
o Appplication Development, J2EE, .NET, Cold Fusion
o Application Testing
o Application Vulnerability and analysis tools; e g. NStealth, AppScan, Findbugs, NStalker



Candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills;
** Strong project management skills
** Strong applications and negotiating skills
** Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, manage their own time, and their reports, effectively, and require minimal supervision in the execution of projects
** Ability to satisfy and exceed client expectations.
** Strong analytical capabilities and curiosity
** Must be able to travel up to 100%, average 75%
