My Client is a leader in the web application security market. We provide next-generation application security vulnerability assessment and risk management solutions. Our suite of application security solutions include: Software as Service for testing one or more applications, to a full enterprise-wide solution for effectively managing application security risks across an enterprise. The company is a well funded Pre- IPO with a strong executive team (over 75 year's collective experience) with solid investors.
We are looking for a senior product manager with at least Position 5+ years Enterprise Software Product Management experience including extensive product lifecycle management experience. A Combination of software and services experience okay. Experience in security products and an MBA are highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to accomplish strategic and tactical tasks.
Compensation plan includes competitive base salary (125 – 150K) - negotiable as 10% bonus as well as Pre IPO stock options.
Main responsibilities include:
Lead the efforts for product management for the suite of our products and services focused on application security.
Write detailed product requirements for Engineering and ensuring that all requirements are released appropriately. Ensure successful implementation of product enhancements and releases. Track and follow-up on product maintenance issues.
Manage the alpha/beta process for products
Manage the product packaging process
Competitive analysis and positioning
Provide sales support including customer meetings, and sales training for both direct and channel sales
Product roadmap and strategic direction. This includes gathering US and international customer requirements, analyzing competitive gaps, prioritization and release planning from both a short and long term perspective.
Manage 3rd party supplier relationships. This includes managing 3rd party development schedules and logistic cycles, identifying product requirements, prioritization, and other general issues.
Develop launch planning and promotions with product marketing.
Developing and directing internal and external product development research activities, including usability testing, focus groups, etc. to determine market opportunity, to test feature sets, to test new products, etc.
Managing product specific customer experience and implementing solutions as needed including on-going customer satisfaction surveys for products.
Manage metrics for product and continuous improvement.
