Stop American Censorship

Congress is about to pass internet censorship, even though the vast majority of Americans are opposed. We need to kill the bill to protect our rights to free speech, privacy, and prosperity.

Go To a Town Hall

The Senate is scheduled to vote on the internet censorship bill on Tuesday, January 24th, and unless we can find 41 senators to block the vote, it is going to pass. Will you meet with your senators during the January recess and ask them to vote it down?

I've gotten at least 10 people to write personalized letters to their Congressmen in addition to my own.

Right now my rep is backing OPEN

I don't think we need any new laws add to the current mess, but I don't see any glaring issues with it.

The only, quite unattainable, solution is to educate the masses.. but how do you educate stupid old men that all they know how to do is count money.. it's like my fridge magnet says: "Why do they call it 'common sense' when it's so rare?".

Intelligent people just need to find a way to buy a congressman, or two.. we need lobbyists.. you know, just like the rich people have..

Here you can propose sites that should strike: http://www.sopastrike.com

Lot of high-profile sites are joining, and January 18th the Internet is on strike. I hope Google has some balls to make a real change, doubt it, but hey.

Just like that! without SOPA or PIPA.
The beginning of an Internet war? would be interesting...
