gmail hides originating ip?

Sorry if it has been discussed before.

gmail does NOT provide originating ip address of sender to recipient MTA (mail servers). Try this- send a mail from gmail to yahoo and check full headers of received email at Yahoo.

That's true. I've noticed this as well. Gmail is an effectively anonymous email client. There, I've said one nice thing about Gmail. Now I can sleep at night.
