BackTrack 4 public beta just released.

Couldn't spot a changelog, nothing updated in the wiki too. Didn't download the image yet so I can't really provide any feedback. Might give it a spin later this week.

I'll get one of the BT guys to comment here. I'm sure he can give some pointers. I think a new version is in the works too.

We did post a summary of the changes when we announced Backtrack 4. The largest change is the swift to using an Ubuntu base. This makes development much much easier so that we can focus on more complex issues and improving Backtrack over time.

Muts has a blog setup for the release as well.

The release notes can be found at:

http://remote-exploit.org/news.html

There are new sections of the forum for Backtrack 4 bugs and feature requests:

http://forums.remote-exploit.org/forumdisplay.php?f=46

Also, many of us developers hang out in irc in #remote-exploit on irc.freenode.net

Hopefully, this was helpful. I look forward to your comments!

Regards,
Jabra
