How about doing something about it? You've obviously already done some research into what would be necessary. To misquote, ckers.org is not your personal dev team. You've certainly got a lot to say, but what do you have to contribute? I've seen 3 screens of text with massive screen shots posted so that you can basically say: I got alert() to fire at some .uk site. (really? you couldn't just post a link and a bit of text? we've all seen a javascript alert before...)

That's all well and good, but instead of talk, how about producing something? A WAF on a cd could be a good idea, why don't you go ahead and try to create one? If it's useful and it sucks others may want to improve it and you would move closer to your stated goal of actually improving the internet.
