I listen to various stuff from classical to heavy stuff.
But, when coding/working or surfing I tend to listen the following heavy bands:
Children of Bodom, Meshuggah, Walls of Jericho, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, The Doors, Cipher System, Dark Tranquility, Emperor, Immortal, Aphex twin, Samael, Slayer, Hatesphere, Stone Sour, Soilwork, Incubus, Lamb of God, Machine Head,
I tend to listen to alot of stuff: aphex, squarepusher, captain ahab, alot of muddy waters and parlaiment, also the funk carioca coming out of brasil is really cool.
Also a ton of hardcore/breakcore alot of breakcore: bong-ra, sonic death rabbit, 666gangsta, nasenbluten, and of course, my band lowtech....
oh yeah, I have a thing for old electro too
EDIT: System of A Down is excellent!

I used to have about 40 gigs of totally random music.
It included basically everything but rap.
Too lazy to rebuild my collection, so it stays to the stuff I mentioned. :D
Jamiroquai, keane, the kooks, blur, basement jaxx, BT, conjure one, delerium, enya, enigma, the postal service, the dandy warhols, muse, modest mouse, royksopp, madonna, dzihan and kamian, infected mushroom, etc.
My tastes are fairly random.
Edit: spelling correction

I love all music, well maybe not opera or country.
Currently Slipknot, Rammstein, red hot chilies, SOAD, anything that's on kerang really. Old school dub, 60's psychedelic and anything weird.
http://www.di.fm/ mainly all the Eurodance, Techno, Hardcore, etc. I have a collection of some of everything from country to classical. I do not like rap/r&b or music where all the person is doing is screaming at the top of their lungs like some punk bands do.
