With Deutch I mean Germany, not Dutch.

He means german, his english looks bad...

Oh man, lern mal Englisch :)

This is one of the best webappsec that i´ve ever found!

Have a look at kryptocrew.de or heise.de/security for example, if its has to be german for you...

but keep in mind that it will not improve your english in further times when you even pass it...

Aber wir mussen auch neue Sprache lernen, nicht nur Programmiersprache.
Yes, that's my piss poor attempt at german.
Vi alla borde lära nya språk, och inte bara data språk.
That's hopefully comprehendable swedish.

It is comprehedable swedish... (I'm norwegian, so... norsk ligner ganske mye på svensk, ikke sant?)

But now I came to wonder, where are you from? And why did you bother to learn a scandinavian language?

Actually, I am swedish. I just haven't lived there or spoken swedish in years, so I've forgotten how to speak/write it (I can still understand it perfectly).

When I was at college I had a norwegian friend, when we didn't want others to understand us I'd speak to him in swedish and he'd reply on norwegian. We understood each other fine and it baffled others that we could do this.

Så du är svensk, WhiteAcid? Det visste jag inte, minsann!

Jag har bara en sak att säga dig: du snackar svenska som du skriver dataspråk... pissdåligt och slarvigt som din morsas stinkiga fitta!

- That's from my Swedish speaking girlfriend. I guess it says something like, "I like you, you're cool, and I'd like to hang out with you sometime" or something. She was laughing a lot when she wrote it. Weird, huh?

Dette var jævlig morsomt.

Å snakke på morsmålet slik som dette ville vel få meg kickbanna fra de fleste forum. :) Nåvel..

All the fun we have...

Nah, I'm not going to /kb you for speaking your own language. That's not my style. But if you want me to participate in the conversation I would ask that you at least try to translate it as best you can into English. :)

P.s.: And he was asking for German webappsec sites O_O

Yah, he does. Actually I've been very impressed by everyone here. I can understand almost everyone perfectly well, and I know the percentage of non-native English speakers on the forums is relatively high. In fact, that's one reason I've opted away from pod-casts. I don't want to make it harder on the people who don't speak English natively.

well rsnake... whoever works in a technically job had to speak english (i'm a telecom techn.) and all this Cisco or 3M products are in english, so you had to speak and understand english, even if your language is german ;-)

I've heard that... well the one nice thing about that is that the younger generation is finally all speaking the same language no matter where they live. I hear that English is one of the hardest languages to learn, so while it's not optimal, it's nice that so many bright people all speak the same language.

Trust me, this is a rumour ;) Compared to franch language (and surely a lot of others), english is absolutely easy to learn.

Regarding the other points I agree with you. Especially in the internet this is important, a giant amount of useful new information in fact is written in english language.

In a few years, english will be a must.

That's good news, I'm glad it's not that hard to learn. There's a comedian in the United States who says, "You know how I know that English is the hardest language to learn in the whole world? Because people who live here study it their whole lives!"

Hardest language to learn? huh? English is a very easy language. German is much harder ;-)

In austria/germany (and probably in many other countrys) english will be learned in school (not the best english there, but for a start its okay ;) )

I like to speak english, there are so much interesting information only avaiable in english.

Yup. I recall myself saying something similar. I think it was "English must really be the hardest language to learn. People living in North America can study it their entire lives and still not get it quite right."
