Digg linked to us in a story yesterday, http://digg.com/security/How_To_Crash_Internet_Explorer

this is what the bandwith chart looks like for outgoing traffic over the past 24 hours...if you look real close you can see when the story was posted...

How many pageviews?
I had the story about my flat featured on reddit.com and this brought 10500 pageviews (9000 unique visitors) in the last 36 hours.

Amazing $0.83 in Adsense revenue! wohoo!

I'm curious how reddit compares to digg in regard to number of attracted visitors.

The problem was partly the size of the file, it is 351519 bytes, I think it could be smaller and accomplish the same thing, and we will be testing that this weekend incase it happens again. The site had over three times its normal traffic at about 1.6gb in 18 hours.

It was like a minor DOS really, our ad revenue was lower because the site was so slow, there were 33916 page views in 48 hours from 15400 unique vistors.
