I was poking around Google when I found this. I thought it was pretty cool because it doesn't give away your real address like user+word@gmail.com does http://digg.com/tech_deals/Find_out_who_gives_away_your_email_address_with_Gmail_trick because that might stop a harvester, but it won't stop a human. Anyway, here's how you do it.

1. Go to http://base.google.com/base/processstep1offer?verticalName=Podcasts&verticalEntryType=custom&enteredVerticalName=%3E&btnG=Next+%C2%BB and sign in.
2. Scroll down to where it says "Contact", it will have your name and your new email (anon-<random>@base.google.com).

Can't i just use: https://www.google.com/base/welcome?hl=en_US ?

Cause your link looks a little scary, just a little ;)

You could, and then just select something from the drop down box.. but my link takes you right to one (laziness =] ) called "<" (because it wouldn't let any single letters in) so that's probably why it looks scary.
