From the challenges this year you would need at least one skilled exploit writer on your team. There were more stack,heap, buffer, integer under/over flow challenges than anything else.
The custom SQLi filter challenge had me in rolling on the floor laughing at first. I have seen a few very similar "solutions" in production code. That along with several other little tweaks made many of the challenges feel more like a real life scenario than a lab one which is quite rare in these type of challenges. I will definitely attend/attempt the next one if there is one!
