Daxx - if you haven't already you should download and play with burp proxy or paros proxy or something similar so you can start getting a feel for what HTTP headers look like and do. It'll really help you understand what's going on under the hood of your browser.

Just remember to turn it on for server responses as well so you can see what's happening in both directions and you should get a really good feel for what HTTP looks like.

You're making sense, but if you have all four states then you should be able to move onto the second part of the the challenge. But if you don't know how to solve the riddle, you may not have all four states.

Hey I feel like a dumbass, and this is exceptionally old, but where on earth do you grab the third clue from? I've got it all under wraps, but I can't find the last fragment of my sentence (although I'm sure I could guess :P). I've grabbed everything I can about the page, the only things I can think of are the css and/or the favicon. And neither have anything? favicon is pretty sparse when textedited, and the css has nuffin :\

Omg, it was the damn favicon.. I had to do something not disclosed to those who might try it to get it... Something blatantly obvious, although irritating that I missed... :) Ta daxx
