These aren't truly bugs, but I'm still curious about them. In the profile area it gives you the choice to hide your email, and it gives you the same option in another setting page under a different selection. Is it the sane function placed twice by mistake, or is it a guest versus member function? The other thing I'm curious about is the ability to suppress the online status of our usernames so that we may either allow or disallow others from knowing who is currently browsing the forums alongside them. Was this (who's online feature) not implemented, or am I always a lonely viewer?

Both checkboxes have the name "hide_email" and if I check one the other is also checked - so I guess it is the same thing, somebody wanted to make sure you don't miss this option.

Good old freeware... Does it bother you? Should I comment one of the functions out for clarity?

No, I was just curious, rsnake. I thought you and id had created this board from scratch so I just wondered if you had forgotten to place an actual feature to show who was online. Not that I cared I was just curious.

Ah, no, I wish I had the time to write this code from scratch. We had to opt for quicker solutions. I've made lots and lots of edits to the code over the last year but it's definitely not mine. Nor is the blog software, although that's getting closer and closer to my code.
