well as i'm working on some worm alike creature ;p..

i came across a problem with automatic submission.

the problem is that if i tryed to submit the forum by a mouse click it works perfect but when i want to create it automatic it dosn't..

i know i din't do anything wrong in my syntax as far as i can see.

the broblem is some where in the submit button

if you make a form

<form method="post" action="target" name="x">
<input>
<input>
<input type="submit" name="submit">

you can't get it automated submitted some how due to the name atribute in the submit button if you change the name to something else then submit it works.
but due to something wich i don't know that doesn't work on the site i try to make my worm for.

any idea how this could be solved? and has anyone else got the same problem..
i have been googling the whole day already to get this fixed but nothing seems to work and i believe this could be some sort of bug or not it affects IE and also FF

tho i haven't tested it on other browsers?

any info about this matter would be great!

i did create my own forum and tryed to submit it but some how it uses the name at the submit button to cheack if it exists orso couse if i add the name='submit'
atribute and click it manually it does update the profiel..

if i leave it away or change it it doesn't and just goes to form fields again..

Hm. Try an AJAX approach? Make an action-less form to cover the real form. end the </form>. Add a fake submit button with an onclick. The function will take the data from the form and submit it with XHR. Then go to a new location.
