We should throw some sort of party for our 100th member. Maybe change the background for them to always be a fiesta theme.

In that case I'll make a duplicate account as soon as I see user 99 :p
Well... I would if I didn't consider duplicate accounts to be the spawn of the devil, I hate it when people have 2+ accounts (unless of course it's an admin to have several accounts for testing purposes).

Hello, I am Obbin, 14 years from sweden!
My interest for security/hacking started off when I was doing some reserch about security for my homepage. I consider myself as a moderate PHP coder and a good Pawn coder. I just started of with C/C++ coding and I have never used linux or BSD.

Thanks.
Ps. Access to page ha.ckers.org was denied. Category: Hacking ;)

Obbin, welcome! Really? ha.ckers.org is blocked? That's interesting. What software is blocking it? We could probably try to get you access through another domain. I'm not a big fan of censorship.

It's blocked at school, I'll take a look on what software that is blocking it tomorrow (The name is somewhere on the page) :)
In fact, it's blocked on every computer in my town owned by the municipality (All librarys, schools and so on)

Must be Websense. My district probably blocks the domain as well.

Hmmm... Without even looking at websense it feels like it would be vulnerable to the normal CGI proxy stuff (google translator is a perfect example). Has anyone tried this:

Hi. My name is Kyran and I'm a....
Oops wrong introduction.

I'm a 17 year old guy from Canada.
I'm mildly interested in Security. Just like I am mildly interested in everything I do. "Jack of all trades, master of none." describes me well.

I'll be hanging around a little bit. Posting now and then.

Again, welcome to the boards Kyran.

Funny things about your description, I just passed on a guy to hire because that was the way he described himself "Jack of all trades, master of none.". I was thinking, be a "Jack of all trades" but freakin master one or two so I can bill hours for you!

What if I'm like a master of video gaming or just like sitting around drinking beer or something. Can you bill for that? ;)

Well id, I'm still young. My required skills for a job are currently "ability to flip burger". No need to attempt to master anything yet. But when I do, I will have lots of skills backing up my main area.

rsnake, I'm the master of those things. Sorry.

hi guys

I'm new at this space and thought I'll just drop in to say hi. I have no formal folio in security, but have a keen interest in botnets and mobile/VoIP security.

Welcome to the forums!
I've been thinking about VoIP lately too. It's a new technology with no real security implemented. I just don't know much about it atm.

My name's Eric; I found this site when I was linked to from it after disclosing details of the 'Google Public Search' exploit. Actually, I had found the 'XSS Cheat Sheet' a LONG time ago, and it was actually one of the things that launched my awareness of XSS issues. I've been reading the blog since then, and found the forums today.

Definitely hoping to learn some more tricks here from people far more knowledgeable than I, so that when I am developing sites, I don't fall for the same tricks :)

Howdy. I'm a 30 years old with some kind of long-lived fascination with web app security.
Being an old fart means I was experimenting with cross-site scripting long before people started calling it CSS.
An acquaintance graciously pointed me to this site, which seems just specialized enough to be interesting to me.

See you guys around.
