@mrbene: You'd be surprised how little unimportant details could be chained together to create surprisingly detailed picture. Check PM >:)

After taking a look through some of these forums, I'm not surprised at all - congrats on tracking down my home phone number and mailing address. I did think it'd take a bit longer than 40 minutes since these are relatively new and I did not publish them on the web directly.

Congrats also to BrianWGray who provided my name and city on November 9th - although I expect he held back on some information so as not to scare me.

/mrbene.

Tried it, it bounces :(

Plus I've already been found - now I know where to go home to, which is really all that matters when it comes down to it.

Hi guys!

I'm at school and I have nothing to do so i take this time to introduce me to you ;).

I'm studying in programmation and I like the world of the web! Especially the security and by the way is opposite ;).

I did some nice exploit (nice for my classmate and friend) and i'm now here to learn more! Because i'm not satisfate!

I'm passionned about Sql injection, Xss and csrf. I did my first worm the last week and i'm proud but i want to push to limit really more far.

Ps: Sorry for my english but some time I sleep in my english class.

Hey all,

I guess i should introduce myself.
i'm always sleepy, low on coffee and late for work...

I work as a developer/sysadmin for a small company, and can't stop learning the things that interest me - XSS brought me to sla.ckers but i'm sure i'll learn quite a few things here :)

Hi all.
just a newb in web developing here. If my apps go skyrocket at google (at least i can dream) i dont want too many of these things you discuss here in it (at least i can pray). I am interested in using WebTech in non-usual way, not only for security, but too to accomplish web experience for my readers they dont even think its possible. I loved that css-playing by SDK(game) and JG(history).
Most reading streams about webapp security passes this site sometime anyway so why not register at source ;)

My thoughts exactly! Not that sla.ckers gives birth to all the web hacking everywhere (I don't think anyone believes that), but pretty much all the top guys either post to the site regularly, or at least read it when they can. Welcome to the site!

oh hai

I was drug here by that diminutive XSS worm contest. Javascript was my first prog language, but that was seriously some crazy ish I witnessed there, hah. I build web apps but didn't really pay attention to security much... now it's like crack to me :/

Hey guys, I guess it’s my time now.

As iNs4n3, I’m in Portugal.
I’m 27 and my interests goes since web develop and security, until video games and other uninteresting stuff ;)

I use linux in almost all boxes (my girl “needs” at least one window$, but she’s getting lots of time in OpenOffice now) and love it :)

I play some sports like muay-thai (or thai-boxing if you prefer) and capoeira (a brazilian fight). Life without them became too stressful.

@musganho - I've always wanted to take Capoeira (not so much as self defense, but just because it looks like fun). I took 12 years of Kenpo Karate, some Shotokan Karate and three years of Ju Jitsu. Hackers and martial arts go hand in hand!

@amnesiac - sorry, you have the wrong RSnake - Faisel disappeared after 9/11/2001. I've had this nick since 1995. He took it over briefly during the GForce years, but after that date I took it back and he disappeared. I'm not sure if that's a coincidence or not, but there you have it. Anyway, welcome!

I have registered upon thy forums.
I come in search of knowledge and wisdom.

:)

No seriously, security has always intrigued me, but I know very little about it.
I am currently employed as a web programmer for a small retail company. My fellow work associate showed me ha.ckers.org and I have been following the articles there as well as the forums.
It's one of the more informative site I have found, so I'm here to learn. On that note if anyone knows of any good online resources that they don't mind sharing, I would be grateful.
Well, now that thats taken care of, I'm going back to digging through these forums. (Theres a lot of good stuff in here)

Cheers.

@Beta_Grumm - welcome! If you have particular questions about where to find something (a particular topic) I'm sure the people in the forums can help.
